Meet Cindy & Mark Hargrove

Owners of Ancestry Vacations

Cindy and Mark met in 2017 as two transplants who found themselves building a life together in Cincinnati. Sharing a love for adventure and new experiences, they quickly discovered that travel wasn't just something they enjoyed—it was a passion that would shape their future together.

In 2019, they were married by Elvis in Las Vegas, beginning a new chapter filled with exploration and unforgettable journeys. Whether it's a weekend road trip, a relaxing coastal retreat, or an overnight flight to Europe, travel has become one of their favorite ways to connect, create memories, and experience the world.

Seattle and nearby Whidbey Island held a special place in their heart, serving as the backdrop for some of life's most treasured memories. An Alaskan cruise was also among their favorite experiences, creating memories they often recalled with great joy. With their son living in Austria, they were fortunate to visit him during the holiday season and experience the Christmas markets of Germany and Austria, exploring eight different markets in just one week—an unforgettable adventure they treasured.

They also proudly called Cincinnati their adopted hometown, spending many weekends cheering on the Reds and Bengals and enjoying the vibrant community and experiences the city provided. They especially loved traveling to Bengals games, creating great memories while watching Cincinnati take on the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those trips were filled with excitement, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments shared together.

Their passion for discovering new places inspired them to create Ancestry Vacations, a travel agency dedicated to helping others experience the joy of travel. Cindy and Mark understand that every traveler has a unique story, and they take pride in designing personalized vacations that fit each client's dreams, interests, and budget.
